AERÉ INTRODUCES NEW FENDER LOAD-SPREADING SYSTEM

        Fenders are essential to protecting vessels while mooring.  If hung incorrectly, the fender will be less effective, leaving the craft vulnerable.  With heavy-duty Load-Spreading Systems from AERÉ, owners and captains can better protect their boats by ensuring fenders are suspended correctly every time.

        Unlike small fenders that have one ring, AERÉ's larger fenders have multiple "D" rings designed to help evenly distribute the load.  Too often, crew members just string a line through all the rings.  Over time, this unequal loading may damage the "D" ring attachment or fender ends.

        Users can now simply tie that single fender line to AERÉ's Load-Spreading Systems.  The unique, swivel shackle and rode system evenly distribute the strain and weight to equal lengths of rode secured to each fender "D" ring.  Made of stainless steel, the durable shackle allows the fender to spin 360°.

        These innovative systems provide more support and make certain fenders perform the way they are intended.  They work especially well with AERÉ's 3', 4' and 8' diameter inflatable fenders.

Available for three- and four-ring fender configurations, AERÉ's Load-Spreading Systems have suggested retail prices starting at $38.50.

AERÉ BRINGS ON BRYAN DAY AS DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

        To take their business to the next level, AERÉ has appointed Bryan Day as director of business development.  Company president Gary Abernathy made the announcement.

        "We're very happy about Bryan's addition to the AERÉ team.  He has a broad background in megayachts, our key market, and he even worked on the QE2," said Abernathy.  "His excellent reputation will continue to open doors for us."

        With an extensive history in the marine industry, Bryan started working for the Sealink Stenna Line in 1980, running the onboard 16mm movie theaters.  In 1995, his years at sea and AV experience secured him employment at LINN.  Bryan's first post was on the Queen Elizabeth 2. 

During his time aboard, he completed 3 circumnavigations of the globe and 69 transatlantic crossings before LINN shifted into the superyacht arena in 1998.  Bryan moved to the United States and specified entertainment systems for Aussie Rules, Phoenix and Ambrosia, among many others.

AERÉ HOSTS EXCLUSIVE PARTY AT MYBA ST. MAARTEN CHARTER SHOW

        This year, AERÉ celebrates a decade of leadership in the inflatable fender marketplace.  In recognition of the continued support of its many satisfied customers, AERÉ held its 1st Annual AERÉ Inflatable Fenders Island Soiree the Sunday before the MYBA St. Maarten Charter Show.

        The first-class party took place at a premium, private, luxury villa on St. Maarten Island in the Caribbean.  A huge success, over 40 specially-invited guests attended, including yacht captains and owners, businesses catering to large yachts and other individuals specializing in the superyacht arena.  They enjoyed an evening of fine entertainment, food and drinks.
